Overview
The iPhone 15 Pro is Apple's compact 2023 flagship, built around a lightweight grade 5 titanium frame with a Ceramic Shield front and a textured matte glass back. At 187 g it is noticeably lighter than the Pro Max. Its 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display runs at up to 120Hz with ProMotion, an Always-On mode and Dynamic Island, and reaches 2000 nits peak brightness outdoors. The A17 Pro chip, built on a 3 nm process, has a 6-core CPU, a 6-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine for demanding games and on-device AI. 8GB of RAM keeps apps in memory. The Pro camera system is led by a 48MP main camera, joined by a 12MP ultra wide and a 12MP 3x telephoto (77 mm). Video goes up to 4K at 60 fps with Dolby Vision HDR, and ProRes recording to an external drive is supported. The 12MP TrueDepth front camera handles selfies and Face ID. USB-C supports USB 3 speeds up to 10Gb/s and DisplayPort. Wireless charging works with MagSafe and Qi2 at up to 15W. The configurable Action button replaces the ring/silent switch. The phone is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance, and includes Emergency SOS and Crash Detection. In the box: iPhone 15 Pro, USB-C charge cable (1 m) and documentation. A power adapter and EarPods are not included.
