The Samsung Galaxy A56 5G is a 2025 upper mid-range phone with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display that runs at up to 120Hz and reaches 1900 nits peak brightness. It is only 7.4 mm thin and weighs 198 g, with Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the front and back, an aluminium frame and IP67 protection against dust and water. It comes in Pink, Olive, Graphite or Light Gray. The Exynos 1580 chip on a 4 nm process runs apps and games, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There is no microSD slot. Samsung promises up to 6 major Android updates, starting on Android 15. The triple rear camera has a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 12MP ultra wide and a 5MP macro camera. A 12MP front camera shoots 4K selfie video. The 5000mAh battery charges at up to 45W by cable. The phone supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC (depending on market), and uses a nano-SIM plus eSIM or dual nano-SIM. In the box: Galaxy A56 and documentation.
