Overview
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is Samsung's 2022 flagship, with a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that runs at up to 120Hz and reaches 1750 nits peak brightness. Its Gorilla Glass Victus+ and aluminium frame are IP68 rated for water and dust resistance. It comes in Phantom Black, White, Burgundy, Green, Graphite, Red or Sky Blue.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip (Exynos 2200 in Europe) on a 4 nm process handles demanding games and apps, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It launched on Android 12, and Samsung promises up to 4 major Android updates.
The quad rear camera is led by a 108MP wide camera, joined by a 12MP ultra wide, a 10MP 3x telephoto and a 10MP 10x periscope telephoto. Video goes up to 8K at 24 fps. The built-in S Pen slots into the frame, and a 40MP front camera handles selfies.
The 5000mAh battery charges at up to 45W by cable and 15W wirelessly, and can share power at 4.5W. The phone supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and Ultra Wideband.
