Overview

The Felicity LPBF48200-H is a 10kWh, 48V (51.2V nominal) lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery for homes, shops and offices that need long backup from solar, the grid or both. It holds twice the energy of Felicity's popular 5kWh model in a single wall- or floor-mounted unit. Who it's for Homes and small businesses running a 48V inverter of about 5kVA to 6kVA, or anyone who wants a full night of backup from one battery. You can add more later: up to 6 can be connected in parallel (60kWh in total). What it can power At least 95% of the 10kWh capacity is usable, so roughly 9.5kWh. As a rough guide, that runs a 500W load (lights, 2–3 fans, a TV, a laptop and Wi-Fi) for about 19 hours, or a 1,000W load (adding a fridge or freezer) for about 9 hours. The recommended continuous output is about 4,000W, with short peaks of 6,000W for 15 seconds, so it can also handle a 1HP inverter air conditioner for a few hours. Avoid running heavy loads such as pressing irons, kettles or water heaters together with other appliances. These figures are estimates; actual runtime depends on your appliances and inverter. Inverter settings must be configured for lithium before first use (max charge voltage 57.6V, cut-off 48V, max charge current 80A per battery). Connect batteries in parallel only (never in series). Installation should be done by a qualified installer. Installation and the main power cables to your inverter are not included. In the box 1 × battery, wall-mount bracket and screws, RS485 cable, universal inverter communication cable, battery-to-battery communication cable, parallel connection cables and an Ethernet connector, as listed in Felicity's user guide.
