Overview
The Felicity FLA12200 is a 12.8V, 200Ah (2.56kWh) lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery for 12V solar and inverter systems. It is a floor-standing unit with a built-in smart battery management system (BMS), a fuse and a status display, and it is rated for 6,000+ cycles, so it is built to be charged and discharged every day for years. Who it's for Homes, shops, offices, caravans and boats running a 12V inverter of up to about 1.5kVA, charged from solar panels, the grid or both. It also suits anyone replacing a 12V lead-acid or tubular battery with a lighter, longer-lasting lithium battery. You can start with one and add more later: up to 16 can be connected in parallel (40.96kWh in total). What it can power At least 95% of the 2.56kWh is usable, so roughly 2.4kWh. As a rough guide, that runs a 300W load (a few LED lights, a fan, a TV and Wi-Fi) for about 7 hours, or a 1,000W load for about 2 hours. The recommended continuous output is about 1,500W (100A), with short peaks of 2,500W (200A) for 15 seconds. It isn't suited to running air conditioners, pressing irons, kettles or water heaters. These figures are estimates; actual runtime depends on your appliances and your inverter's efficiency. Key specifications in plain language • Long life: rated for 6,000+ cycles (at 0.2C, 25°C, 80% depth of discharge), which is many years of daily use. • Safe chemistry: LiFePO4 is the most stable lithium chemistry for home storage, and the built-in smart BMS and fuse protect against over-charge, over-discharge, over-current and short circuits. • Smart: a status display shows the battery's condition, and RS485/CAN communication lets compatible inverters read the battery directly. • Easy to place: floor-standing, indoors only (IP21), 15kg, 328 x 248 x 199mm. Compatibility Use it with a 12V inverter or charge controller that supports lithium (LiFePO4) batteries, and set the inverter's battery type to lithium before first use. Connect batteries in parallel only. Most hybrid inverters above about 3kVA run on 24V or 48V, so check your inverter's battery voltage before buying; a 24V or 48V system needs batteries made for that voltage. If you want the inverter to talk to the battery, check that it supports this battery's RS485/CAN link. Installation should be done by a qualified installer. Cables and accessories should be confirmed when you order. Warranty & support Up to 5 years from Felicity Solar, the manufacturer. We supply this product through a partner supplier, so warranty claims are handled by Felicity through that supplier. What buyers say See the User Reviews section below. Delivery Delivery time and cost depend on your location and are confirmed when you order. Lithium batteries are heavy (15kg), so they ship by road.

Questions about this product
Can it replace my 12V lead-acid battery?
It is designed for 12V systems, including as a lighter, longer-lasting replacement for a 12V lead-acid or tubular battery. Your inverter or charger must support lithium (LiFePO4) batteries, so check this before buying.
Can I use it on a 24V or 48V inverter?
Not on its own. This is a 12V battery, and a 24V or 48V system needs batteries made for that voltage. Felicity only lists parallel connection for this model (up to 16 units, 40.96kWh).
How long will it run my appliances?
About 2.4kWh is usable: roughly 7 hours for a 300W load or 2 hours for a 1,000W load. These are estimates and depend on your inverter.
What inverter size suits it?
Up to about 1.5kVA. The recommended continuous output is about 1,500W (100A), with short peaks of 2,500W (200A) for 15 seconds.
Can I install it outdoors?
No. It is floor-standing and rated IP21, so keep it indoors, away from water and heat. Charge it between 0°C and 55°C.
What warranty does it have?
Up to 5 years from Felicity. Claims go through Felicity via our supplier, so keep your proof of purchase.

Overall
We found no independent owner reviews of this exact model (FLA12200), so this summary reflects Felicity lithium batteries in general. Felicity is one of the most widely sold lithium battery brands in Nigeria, and buyers value its local availability, compatibility with popular inverters and long warranty. Opinions online are mixed, though: some installers report good performance and helpful support, while others have complained of capacity below the rating on some Felicity models.
Review 1
An installer who has fitted Felicity batteries said they work well and the customer support is good, but advised buyers to respect the battery's charge and discharge current limit and not pair it with an oversized inverter.
Review 2
An owner using a Felicity battery with a third-party inverter needed help finding the right communication cable wiring. Another user noted it works most easily with Growatt SPF, Deye and Felicity inverters.
Review 3
Some buyers abroad (mainly in 2022, on other Felicity models) were unhappy: they reported less capacity than advertised and questioned the quality of the cells used, and one said their battery gave off smoke within days and was replaced.
Review 4
A Nigerian buying guide recommends Felicity lithium batteries for their long cycle life, high usable capacity and local warranty support, and advises buying from authorised dealers and checking warranty terms before purchase.
