Overview
The Felicity LPBF24200-M is a 25.6V (24V-class), 200Ah, 5kWh lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery for 24V solar and inverter systems. It is a wall-mounted or floor-standing unit with a built-in smart battery management system (BMS) and fuse, LED charge indicators, an on/off switch and a rating of 6,000+ cycles. It stores enough energy to run the essentials through a long power cut. Who it's for Homes, shops and small offices running a 24V inverter of about 2kVA to 3kVA, charged from solar panels, the grid or both. It also suits anyone replacing a 24V lead-acid or tubular battery bank with lithium. You can start with one and add more later: up to 6 can be connected in parallel (30kWh in total). What it can power At least 95% of the 5kWh is usable, roughly 4.75kWh. As a rough guide, that runs a 500W load (lights, 2-3 fans, a TV, a laptop and Wi-Fi) for about 8 hours, or a 1,000W load (adding a fridge or freezer) for about 4 hours. The recommended continuous output is about 2,000W (80A), with short peaks of 3,000W (120A) for 15 seconds. It isn't suited to running air conditioners, pressing irons, kettles or water heaters. These figures are estimates; actual runtime depends on your appliances and your inverter's efficiency. Key specifications in plain language • Long life: rated for 6,000+ cycles (at 0.2C, 25°C, 80% depth of discharge), which is many years of daily use. • Safe chemistry: LiFePO4 is the most stable lithium chemistry for home storage, and the built-in smart BMS and fuse protect against over-charge, over-discharge, over-current and short circuits. It is certified to UN38.3, CE-EMC and IEC 62619. • Smart: RS485/CAN communication lets compatible inverters read the battery directly. • Easy to place: 415 x 400 x 213mm and 36.5kg, wall-mounted or floor-mounted, indoors only (IP21). Compatibility Use it with a 24V inverter or hybrid inverter that supports lithium batteries, and set the inverter to the lithium (LiFePO4) battery type before first use. Felicity's datasheet shows compatibility with inverters including Victron, Growatt, Deye, Sunsynk, SRNE, Solis, Sofar, INVT and SolaX; use the right communication cable for your inverter (CAN or RS485). Connect batteries in parallel only, never in series. Install it indoors, away from water and heat. Installation should be done by a qualified installer. Cables, the mounting bracket and accessories should be confirmed when you order. Warranty & support Up to 5 years from Felicity Solar, the manufacturer. We supply this product through a partner supplier, so claims are handled by Felicity through that supplier; keep your proof of purchase and installation records. What buyers say See the User Reviews section below. Delivery Delivery time and cost depend on your location and are confirmed when you order. The unit weighs 36.5kg, so it ships by road.

Overall
We found no independent owner reviews of this exact model (LPBF24200-M), so this summary reflects Felicity lithium batteries in general. Felicity is one of the most widely sold lithium battery brands in Nigeria, and buyers value its local availability, compatibility with popular inverters and long warranty. Opinions online are mixed: the most common complaints are about the battery not communicating with the inverter and about slow support, usually on larger Felicity models.
Review 1
An installer who has fitted Felicity batteries said they work well and the customer support is good, but advised buyers to respect the battery's charge and discharge current limit and not pair it with an oversized inverter.
Review 2
A South African retailer's buying guide explains that most modern hybrid inverters such as Sunsynk and Deye talk to the battery over CAN, that RS485 is older but widely supported, and that buying the correct communication cable is crucial.
Review 3
Another buyer of a different Felicity battery said it began tripping its circuit breaker after a few months and that their refund request was refused, a reminder to buy from a seller that will handle warranty claims and to keep proof of purchase and installation.
