Overview

The Pro Power Tall Tubular is a 12V 220Ah wet cell (flooded lead-acid) inverter battery for solar and UPS backup. It's made in India for Pro Power, a Lagos-based solar brand, and it gives you 10% more capacity than a standard 200Ah battery. Who it's for Homes, shops and small offices that want a dependable, lower-cost battery than lithium. One battery suits a 12V inverter of about 1kVA to 1.5kVA. For bigger inverters, connect identical batteries in series: 2 for a 24V inverter (about 2.5kVA) or 4 for a 48V inverter (about 5kVA). What it can power The battery stores about 2.64kWh (12V × 220Ah). For a long life, use about half of that each day. As a rough guide, one battery runs a 300W load (lights, 2 fans, a TV and Wi-Fi) for about 3.5–4.5 hours, or a 150W load (lights, a fan and phone charging) for about 7–9 hours. It isn't suited to running air conditioners, pressing irons, kettles or water heaters. These figures are estimates; actual runtime depends on your appliances, your inverter and how deeply you discharge the battery. Key features in plain language • Tall tubular plates, the design used for long-life deep-cycle inverter batteries. • Ultra-low maintenance: 6 float indicators show when the electrolyte needs topping up with distilled water. • Built for long backup and quick recharge from the grid, a generator or solar. • Works with Pro Power's own MPPT charge controllers, as well as other brands. Compatibility Works with any 12V inverter, UPS or solar charge controller that has a setting for flooded/tubular lead-acid batteries. Only connect batteries of the same model and age together. Install it upright in a well-ventilated place: wet cell batteries give off hydrogen gas while charging. Installation and cables are not included. In the box 1 × battery, filled with electrolyte and ready to use. Warranty and support Manufacturer warranty from Pro Power Company Ltd (offices in Alaba International Market, Lagos, and Jabi, Abuja). The warranty period is confirmed at order, and claims are handled through our supplier. What buyers say Pro Power is a local brand sold by many Lagos solar dealers. See the User Reviews section for a balanced summary. Delivery Supplied from Lagos. Delivery time and cost depend on your location and are confirmed at order. Tall tubular batteries of this size are heavy (typically 60kg or more), so plan for two people to handle it, and keep it upright.
